Born in Queens, New York, Tommy Bolan is universally recognized as one of heavy metal's most electrifying guitar virtuosos. Renowned for his aggressive alternate picking, ferocious speed, and riveting live performances, he has been described by guitar publications worldwide as "One of the Most Insane Shredders of All Time."
⚡ Warlock & "Triumph and Agony" Breakthrough
Tommy rose to international fame as the lead guitarist for German heavy metal icons Warlock, fronted by metal queen Doro Pesch. His razor-sharp riffs and blistering guitar solos defined the sound of their 1987 masterpiece, Triumph and Agony.
The album achieved Gold and Platinum status worldwide, broke into the US Billboard 200, and featured mega-hits including "All We Are" (which went into heavy rotation on MTV's Headbangers Ball) and the epic metal ballad "Für Immer". Warlock supported the album with historic arena tours alongside Dio, Megadeth, and Judas Priest, headlining major metal festivals across Europe and North America.

Tommy teamed up with legendary Ramones drummer and songwriter Richie Ramone to write, record, and tour as lead guitarist for the Richie Ramone Band.
Tommy played all guitar tracks and co-wrote songs on Richie Ramone’s celebrated comeback album Entitled (released on DC-Jam Records), mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons) and mastered by Stephen Marcussen, as well as the follow-up record Cellophane. On extensive international tours across Europe, South America, and the United States, Tommy not only delivered blistering punk-metal solos but also took on lead vocals on beloved Ramones classics during their live shows.
